Do Not Sell My Personal Information
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) · Effective May 2025
1. Your Rights Under California Law
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information to third parties. Under the CCPA, sale includes sharing personal information with third parties in exchange for money or other valuable consideration.
We do not sell your personal information to third-party advertisers, data brokers, or marketing companies. We only share your information with participating Suffolk County dealerships — and only when you submit a match request specifically asking to be connected to a dealer. That sharing is limited to what is necessary to fulfill your request.
- We do not share your data with national advertising networks
- We do not share your data with data brokers or lead resellers
- We do not share your data with any party outside of our participating dealer network
- Dealers in our network may only use your information to respond to your specific inquiry
Even though we believe our current practices do not constitute a sale under the CCPA, we provide this page and the opt-out process below so that you can exercise your rights at any time.
2. How to Request Opt-Out
To opt out of any sharing of your personal information, send an email to us using the details below. We will process your request within 15 business days and confirm once complete.
Opt-Out Request Instructions
- Email: privacy@suffolkcounty.autos
- Subject line: Do Not Sell My Info Request
- Include: your full name, email address, and phone number used when submitting your match request
We will verify your identity before processing the request. Once verified, we will stop sharing your information with dealerships and flag your record so it is excluded from any future matching activity.
3. How to Request Data Deletion
You also have the right to request that we delete the personal information we hold about you. To do so, send an email using the details below. We will delete your lead record from our system within 30 days of verifying your identity.
Data Deletion Request Instructions
- Email: privacy@suffolkcounty.autos
- Subject line: Data Deletion Request

Please note that once your data is deleted, we will be unable to track or honor any previous match request you submitted. If you later wish to use our matching service, you would need to submit a new inquiry.
4. Additional CCPA Rights
As a California resident, you also have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you
- Know whether your personal information has been disclosed and to whom
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond to verified requests within 45 days as required by the CCPA.
